Hi, I'm Akash.

I build AI systems for customer-facing operations. Based in Bangalore.

What I'm working on right now

  • An AI receptionist answering the phone for a dental clinic in Bangalore. It books appointments, chases follow-ups, and calls patients back when they miss one. Live since July; I maintain it in about two hours a week.
  • A full client pipeline for a fitness coach — enquiry, onboarding, session links, invoices, payment reminders — across WhatsApp and email. In build.
  • An AI finance product I built and now maintain under a three-year contract. Live with real users; enterprise API next.
  • Plus a website chatbot, a vendor onboarding agent, an order-taking phone agent and an invoice system, all still running for earlier clients.
  • Based in Bangalore. I work remotely with clients in India and abroad.

What I'm actually good at

The build isn't the hard part any more. Most people can wire up a tool now, and plenty will do it cheaper than me.

The hard part is the decision. Which two of your fifteen steps are worth automating — and which thirteen aren't. How much you actually hand over, and where a person has to stay in the loop. Which tool fits the job, rather than the one the builder happens to know.

I think about a business like a pipeline. Somewhere in it there's a section everything slows down at. My job is to find that section, cut it out, replace it with something that doesn't slow down, and join it back to both ends without breaking anything either side.

I came at this from operations, not from code, so my first question is never “what can this tool do?” — it's “what is this costing you, and is it worth fixing?” Getting that judgement wrong is why most AI projects quietly die.

Background

I came into AI through operations, not through code. What I'm actually obsessed with is how businesses work — where they get stuck, and which systems create leverage.

I spent five years at Sainik School Purulia, a Ministry of Defence residential school with a national entrance exam. What it actually left me with is unglamorous: I turn up, I give dates and keep them, and I tell you bad news early. Ask my clients — that's most of why they're still with me.

How I work with clients

I reply to everything myself, usually within one working day. I work remotely with clients in India and abroad, and I'm happy to take calls at whatever hour suits yours — most of my international calls happen in my evening or late at night.

The server, the API keys and any subscriptions all sit in your name, and you pay those vendors directly. I don't resell you infrastructure or put a margin on it. You can see exactly what the system costs to run — and if you ever stop working with me, you keep all of it.

If you want a second opinion on whether AI actually fits something you're already doing, that's a free half hour. And if I think I can help, I'll build the first piece before you pay anything.
