How I work
Four steps, and you can stop after the second one having paid nothing.
A call30 minutes
No pitch and no preparation needed. I ask how your operation runs and where things get stuck. You leave with two or three specific things worth automating, whether or not we go further.
I build the first piece — freeabout a week
If I think I can genuinely help, I build one working piece before you pay anything, running on your real process. We agree in writing beforehand what it will do and how we'll both judge whether it worked. If it doesn't convince you, you keep it anyway.
We scope and build the resttwo to six weeks
Only if the first piece worked. We agree what it's worth to you and price from that, half up front and half on delivery. I keep you updated as it goes rather than disappearing for a month.
Keep it runningmonthly, ongoing
Monthly support to keep it healthy and extend it as you grow. My oldest systems have been running since late 2025.
What I need from you
Not much of your time, but some of it at particular moments.
Most of it is at the start. I need to understand how your business actually works — where the money comes from, which customers you can't afford to annoy, what happens on a bad day. That takes real conversations, not a form.
Then I come back with a plan: what I think is worth handing to a machine, what isn't, and why. Nothing gets built until you've seen it and told me I've got it right. You've run this business for years and I haven't — if something in the plan doesn't sit right with you, we change it before anything is built.
After that I go quiet. I come back when there's an update worth telling you about, when we're adding something new, or when a service needs paying for.
The one thing I do need is that when I ask — for information, for a decision, or to put a card on an account — it doesn't sit for two weeks. How much it adds up to depends on size: a single email automation needs very little; a full end-to-end system means more conversations and a few accounts to set up.
On accounts: the server, the API keys and any subscriptions all sit in your name, and you pay those vendors directly. I don't resell you infrastructure or put a margin on it. You can see exactly what the system costs to run — and if you ever stop working with me, you keep all of it.
